The concept of man-to-cargo is one of the principles of picking, in which goods are made available at a fixed storage location for picking and stay there until the person picking them up.

Brief description
In this type of picking, also called static picking, the picker must move to the goods to pick them. This principle makes sense especially when a relatively large number of items of different dimensions need to be picked up or when the picking activity is subject to high fluctuations.
