Driverless transportation systems are automatically controlled, ground-supported transport vehicles that handle intra-company transportation without an attendant and moving by their own propulsion.
Brief description
In driverless transportation systems, most functions such as propulsion, steering, power supply are integrated into the device. The advantage of such systems is the ability to flexibly link route steering as well as material flow. On the other side, however, we usually have high investment costs for vehicles, section (cleanliness, smoothness).
If conveying systems are used without mechanical guidance along the track (steel cables, etc.), there is the possibility of inductive systems (inductive loops embedded in the floor of the hall, transmitting electric ladders) or optical systems (laser, etc.).
