By ofranking we mean that part of the transport contract (AWB, B/L, CMR) which establishes between the principal and the carrier who is responsible for transport costs. The ofranking gives instructions on where to fill the order.
Brief description
In road communications, the ofranking of "free" or "non-free", for example, is practiced. Ofranking "free" means that the transport costs are borne by the shipper, which, however, does not exclude that the consignee, together with the bill for the goods, will not receive a charge for part of the shipping costs. "Non-free," on the other hand, means that all of the transportation costs will be borne by the recipient of the goods. However, for the international movement of goods, it is recommended to use Incoterms.
