The term goods to man refers to a picking method in which goods are delivered to a work site where they are picked up by a picker.
Brief description
In this method of picking, also known as dynamic picking, the goods needed are usually transported by warehouse vehicles or a conveyor system to the work site. There, the picking person picks up the appropriate quantity needed to complete the order. The return transport of empty load carriers or leftovers then takes place again via storage vehicles or conveyor systems. This principle is often applied to standard, single-sided products.
