Under the collective term creative techniques are gathered all methods for creating solutions and allowing for diversity, nonconformity, and crossing thought boundaries. The result of this phase can help clarify problems, arrange thoughts, as well as accelerate the formation of new ideas. To help with solutions are new ideas, rather than producing "more of the same."

Brainstorming |
Brainstorming defines a type of idea-gathering in which all participants speak and write down their associations with the topic. The unstructured proposals are collected and organized by the protocol leader according to the subject areas and the possibility of implementation. |
|
Mind Map |
Mind Map (mind map) is used to find ideas, while also structuring ideas and visualizing associations of all group members. Words, images, colors and elements are used for this purpose. |
|
The technique of standing on one's head |
With this technique, the possibilities for solutions to the presented topic are generated in the direction of a completely opposite problem. This means that when it comes to solving a problem, one works in the opposite direction of the brainstorming or Mind Map methods. |
|
Cause-and-effect diagram |
This method is built on the previous techniques: it helps to structure the results. After formulating the problem and determining the magnitude of the main influences, the causes of the problem are worked out. This is followed by visualization and checking for completeness, generating a position and checking for correctness. |
|
SWOT analysis |
SWOT stands for Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats. With the help of this tool, the conditions to be created in order to achieve certain goals are to be analyzed, with the factor this problem or inquiry is decomposed on the basis of these 4 criteria and conclusions are drawn. |
|
Storyboard |
This method is a technique adopted from the film industry to make a presentation clear and build it up. After defining the topic, each film is assigned a message that is strong in meaning. In doing so, the films have a clear pronunciation and build comprehensible "rivers of stories." |
|
Pyramid Thinking |
The technique is designed to help structure clearly and logically and thus also communicate better. In application, it groups information in a pyramidal structure, with the source statement or hypothesis standing at the very top. Moving downward, the topic becomes, through main statements and chapters, as well as subsections and subdivisions, increasingly fragmented and detailed. Within and between the levels there is a logical transverse and horizontal connection to the topic. |
