The continuous improvement process is the Western equivalent of KAIZEN and seeks to continuously improve internal and external processes within a company.
Brief description
Unlike TQM, which deals with optimizing production, CPWP can be used for all areas in a company. Employees have the ability to transfer knowledge of their activities and milestones and make changes. The main principle, is to introduce the change process from scratch and involve everyone in it. In this way, every employee has the opportunity to constantly analyze and constantly change both the enterprise and their own skills. To be able to measure change, there is a need to establish a baseline defined by standards. The need for constant adjustments is due to the changing environment, to which the structure of the environment should be adjusted.
