The company began operations in 1998 under the name Pronox Technology in the form of a joint stock company. Pronox took up the business of redistributing computer components in southern Poland and supplying them to small companies assembling finished products from these components. The company has progressed from a "simple" redistributor of computer components to a provider of comprehensive, integrated logistics services and a major manufacturer of consumer electronics equipment, also sold - very importantly - under its own brands and on international markets, including the Far East.
Pronox Technology is a distributor of IT components and manufacturer of consumer electronics under the EasyTouch brand. In 2008, the company opened a new distribution and production center in Dabrowa Gornicza with an area of 16,000 sq. m.
Intralog designed and built a picking system based on roller conveyors. There are more than 1km of conveyors in the warehouse. The main line allows 2,000 cartons to be shipped per hour.
Small products are picked using pick-to-box technology. At the beginning of the line, 2 automatic carton machines are integrated, from where the cartons can go to 8 picking stations, which are located on 2 conveyor loops. The goods at the stations are stored on shelf or carton-flow racks. Once picking is complete, the boxes go to one of 18 packing stations, where documents are printed. Once packing is complete, the cartons are escorted to the shipping area, where they are automatically sealed and labeled with address labels.
Large products are picked directly from pallets using pick-to-belt technology and labeled with an internal barcode. A conveyor transports the products directly to the shipping area, where they are automatically labeled with address labels.
At the end of the line, all finished shipments are sorted into directions and courier companies.
