Automatic and industrial labellers

Time is one of the most valuable resources of any production line. Unnecessary movements, downtime or even minor marking errors translate into costly losses. These include delivery delays, shipping mistakes and unforeseen operating costs.

On a weekly, monthly or yearly basis, this means hundreds of man-hours and tens of thousands of zlotys lost to corrections, complaints and downtime.

Industrial labellers They allow you to regain control over it. They automate, speed up and standardize the entire marking process. It's an investment that pays for itself very quickly and increases every day in real terms warehouse performance.

Is an industrial labeler a good solution for your warehouse?

Industrial labelers - saving time

Is an automatic labeling machine a good investment? Let's use a concrete example:

It takes an average of 6-10 seconds to manually apply one label. This means that it takes an employee an average of 1.5 to even 3 hours to label 1,000 products.

The industrial labeler will perform the same task in just 10-15 minutes. No errors or downtime between cycles.

With larger volumes, the difference grows exponentially, so it's saving a huge number of man-hours per week.

Automatic labeling machines - how do they work?

Automatic labelers are devices that independently apply labels to products moving along a production line. They are fully integrated into the system and read the signal of an oncoming product. They then retrieve the appropriate label and precisely apply it at a pre-programmed location. Depending on the model and configuration, the label can be applied:

  • from the side,
  • From the top or bottom of the product,
  • For both flat and irregular surfaces,
  • Before or after packaging the goods.

Speed and efficiency of labeling

Modern industrial labelers can apply From 60 to as many as 150 labels per minute. In practice, this means the ability to label thousands of products a day, with no downtime, errors or manual inspection.

One of the key strengths of automatic labeling systems is their flexibility and ability to adapt to a specific work environment. Depending on the needs of the production line or warehouse, the user can:

  • adjust the speed of application, adapting it to the pace of transportation or packaging,
  • automatically recognize the format and position of the product, which allows multiple package types to be handled on a single line,
  • print variable data - Such as expiration dates, lot numbers, barcodes or QR codes.
  • control the correctness of the application using occupancy sensors or video cameras that immediately detect any errors or deviations.

In addition, enhanced features are available on many models, such as:

  • integration with thermal and thermal transfer printers - essential for dynamic printing immediately before application,
  • connection to database systemsh - enabling automatic retrieval of product information from ERP or WMS systems
  • verification of codes and labels - with automatic response when an error is detected (e.g., product rejection with incorrect labeling).

Selection

Industrial labelers - choosing the right device

Before deciding on a purchase, it is worth analyzing several key parameters. First of all, the type of products to be labeled, their shape and surface, as well as the place where the label is applied will be important. Equally important is the speed of the device, the ability to print variable data or integration with the IT system.

Not sure which model will be best? We will be happy to advise you based on your production line data.
